We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Utility Foreman to join our team at ASI Constructors. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of construction personnel, including laborers, operators, and equipment operators.
- Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor and control the use of company equipment and resources, including heavy machinery and vehicles.
- Coordinate with project owners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
- Perform performance management and coaching of crew members to ensure high levels of productivity and quality.
- Communicate project goals and objectives to crew members and ensure that they are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including time sheets, equipment usage, and material inventory.
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed, including safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Physical ability to work in a construction environment, including standing, walking, and lifting.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be willing to adapt to changing circumstances.
Equipment and ToolsThe successful candidate will be required to operate a variety of heavy machinery and equipment, including but not limited to:
- Backhoe
- Loader
- Compactor
- Spreader box
Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Basic reading and writing skills, including the ability to understand and follow safety regulations.
- Ability to build positive customer relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependability and reliability.
The primary language used in this role is English (en-US).
