Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction personnel, including laborers, operators, and equipment operators.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Monitor and control the use of company equipment and resources, including heavy machinery and vehicles.
  • Coordinate with project owners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
  • Perform performance management and coaching of crew members to ensure high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Communicate project goals and objectives to crew members and ensure that they are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including time sheets, equipment usage, and material inventory.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed, including safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Physical ability to work in a construction environment, including standing, walking, and lifting.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be willing to adapt to changing circumstances.

Equipment and Tools

The successful candidate will be required to operate a variety of heavy machinery and equipment, including but not limited to:

  • Backhoe
  • Loader
  • Compactor
  • Spreader box

Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

  • Basic reading and writing skills, including the ability to understand and follow safety regulations.
  • Ability to build positive customer relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
