Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects in gas processing plants, ensuring safe and timely completion in accordance with company policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects of varying magnitude and complexity from conception to start-up, collaborating with affected departments at all stages.
  • Monitor and control project performance to ensure quality, cost, and time parameters are met.
  • Collaborate with Project Controls on project administration, reviewing proposed designs and advising on constructability issues.
  • Work with Procurement to identify and obtain resources, establishing and managing staffing resources.
  • Implement construction and installation of facilities and equipment in accordance with approved detailed design.
  • Ensure all testing and documentation required by specifications, contracts, and local, state, and federal agencies are completed properly and filed as permanent records.
  • Travel up to 50%.

Requirements
  • Minimum high school or GED required; BS Engineering preferred.
  • Experience in Natural Gas or petrochemical industries, with project experience required.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience as construction supervisor at gas processing or chemical plants.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of individuals/employees.
  • Ability to provide equipment specifications per MPLX standards and order appropriate materials for projects.
