Job Title: Commissioning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to join our team at Salado Isolation Mining Contractors. As a Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning, startup, and turnover of equipment and systems in newly constructed facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans to ensure safe and efficient startup of equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure compliance with client, Bechtel, SIMCO, and project standards.
  • Direct and monitor commissioning, startup, and facility operations efforts to ensure timely completion and quality of work.
  • Develop and execute site commissioning and startup process and procedures.
  • Review and approve internal organization and commissioning and startup staff assignments.
  • Provide input to project management, engineering, and construction to ensure commissioning and startup requirements are incorporated into project activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Over 15 years of relative experience including supervisory experience at a management level preferably in commissioning and startup and plant operations.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of commissioning and startup and plant operations methods and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional license in an engineering discipline from a recognized licensing board.
  • Preferred knowledge of Bechtel/SIMCO commissioning, startup and turnover process.
