About the Role

Lakeside School is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Staff to join our facilities team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep and repair of our school buildings, grounds, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues.
  • Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and machinery.
  • Assist with landscaping and groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, fertilizing, and aerating lawns.
  • Perform snow removal and other winter maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Assist with special events and projects as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
