Maintenance Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Bell Partners Inc. As a key member of our community management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, providing exceptional customer service to our residents, and leading a team of maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the community and grounds to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Respond to resident maintenance requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a multi-family housing environment.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

What We Offer:

Bell Partners Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $36.00 - $39.00 per hour, with opportunities for incentive compensation. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
