Alaska Structural Engineering Professional Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Anchorage, AK.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and experience working on complex projects.
This role involves designing structures that can withstand harsh Alaskan winters, earthquakes, and high winds. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing stresses, crunching numbers, and making steel beams feel invincible. They will work collaboratively with architects and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze structures using computer analysis programs like RISA, STAAD, SAP, or Enercalc
- Prepare structural plans, details, specifications, and related construction observations
- Lead structural and multi-discipline projects from start to finish
- Review other engineers' designs and project structural drawings
- Interpret and coordinate with architectural drawings
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural coursework emphasis
- Professional Engineer registration
- 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Mathcad
- Familiarity with RISA, STAAD, SAP, Enercalc, or similar Structural Analysis Software
