Lead Structural Engineering Expert in Alaska

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at NES Fircroft. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with experienced professionals.
About the Role:- This structural engineer role involves leading multi-discipline projects, designing structures that can withstand extreme Alaskan weather conditions, analyzing stresses, and preparing plans and specifications.
- You will work closely with architects and engineers to ensure that all structural drawings meet the highest standards.
- A key responsibility of this position is reviewing other engineers' designs and project structural drawings to guarantee their accuracy and quality.
- You will participate in design progress meetings, assist with project proposals, and observe on-site structural construction.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer registration.
- 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Mathcad.
- Familiarity with RISA, STAAD, SAP, Enercalc, or similar structural analysis software.
- Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Structural engineering registration.
- Experience with Revit and project management skills.
