Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct and Guide: Provide expert guidance to gamers on exercise role-playing techniques, ensuring they understand the objectives and requirements of each exercise.
  • Simulation Support: Assist gamers in the use of simulation models and role-playing, helping them to develop and implement effective strategies.
  • Exercise Realism: Collaborate with gamers to identify and address simulation model abnormalities, ensuring exercises are conducted in a realistic and effective manner.
  • Operational Support: Operate Government vehicles as required, providing logistical support for exercises and training events.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Install, operate, and maintain Battlefield Visualization equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Staff Support: Provide support for After Action Reviews and Opposing Forces, helping to analyze and improve exercise outcomes.
Requirements
  • Military Experience: Honorable service as an officer or noncommissioned officer in the US Armed Forces.
  • Doctrine and Procedures: Experience with Allied and US Joint doctrine, organization, and procedures, as well as US Army doctrine, organization, and procedures.
  • Instructional Experience: Proven experience in conducting instruction and training, with a focus on exercise role-playing and simulation techniques.
  • War Gaming and Staff Techniques: Experience with war gaming or staff techniques, with a strong understanding of their application in exercise and training environments.
