Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab Position
As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Rehab Unit, you will be responsible for administering direct and indirect patient care based on scientific principles and guided by the established policies and procedures of Fairview Park Hospital. This will include initiating a plan of care, beginning discharge planning on admission, recognizing and reporting changes in condition, evaluating care, updating and revising the plan of care, and providing patient care. You will also be responsible for maintaining and applying current nursing standards and clinical competency, including the National Patient Safety Goals, and for applying critical thinking skills in conjunction with facility policies and procedures to prioritize and problem solve. Additionally, you will be accountable for the completion of assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, and utilize time and material cost-effectively. Finally, you will continue to develop your skills and knowledge, provide leadership, and actively participate in Performance Improvement Activities.
