About the Role

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at The Vintage Hospital. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill or unstable patients in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the care of critically ill patients, including those who are unstable or at risk of deterioration
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote understanding and empowerment

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma
  • One (1) or more years of nursing experience, preferably in an Acute Care setting
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with skills demonstration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • One (1) or more years of experience in an ICU setting

Compensation

$52.80/hour
