Job Title: LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse - Express Care - Part Time - Days

ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Express Care team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in our Express Care department, providing medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing.
  • Currently licensed LPN in the State of Ohio.
  • Basic knowledge of the biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
  • CPR certification (Healthcare Provider CPR).
