About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Laurels of Defiance. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our guests, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care services to guests, including health education and assessments.
- Supervise the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members.
- Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status.
- Contribute to the guest's assessment (MDS/CAA's) and the development of a plan of care.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
