Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Technician to join our team at Christus Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying and adjusting plaster casts, assembling and attaching orthopedic traction equipment and devices, and setting up bed traction units or rigs special devices as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of an RN, provide orthopedic services for emergency/trauma services and clinical services
  • Inspect and adjust bandages and equipment periodically

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 0 – 1 years of experience preferred
  • BLS certification

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
