1. Conducts general cost accounting and related tasks for the organization.

2. Prepares monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.

3. Maintains the integrity of the general ledger.

4. Codes invoices, establishes new accounts, reconciles accounts, and finalizes monthly financial records.

5. Reconciles bank accounts on a monthly basis, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from financial institutions.

6. Manages reconciliation of cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; oversees accounts receivable collections.

7. Verifies and processes payments for invoices related to accounts payable, ensuring charges are allocated to the correct accounts.

8. Assists external auditors by providing necessary account information and documentation for the annual audit.

9. Files tax documentation with federal, state, and local government entities.

10. Collaborates with software vendors to maintain accounting software systems and recommends enhancements to improve functionality.

11. Oversees the purchasing and invoicing processes.

12. Keeps abreast of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.

Compensation: Yearly Salary
