Job Summary:

The Regional Manager II will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and activities of Supply Services, ensuring compliance with statutory and procedural requirements. This role will involve monitoring warehouse activities for efficiency and effectiveness, reviewing stock purchases to identify opportunities for blanket orders, and leading regional managers and warehouse supervisors in identifying products suitable for system-wide standardization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations and activities of Supply Services, ensuring compliance with statutory and procedural requirements.
  • Monitor warehouse activities for efficiency and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Review stock purchases to identify opportunities for blanket orders, reducing costs and improving inventory management.
  • Lead regional managers and warehouse supervisors in identifying products suitable for system-wide standardization, promoting consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Assist in building consensus among statewide facility warehouses to reduce operational costs and streamline processes, ensuring statutory compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance, support, and technical assistance to ensure staff is trained in accordance with state requirements.
  • Plan, assign, and supervise the work of others, ensuring prompt response to customer needs and effective use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Ability to manage specific to supply and warehouse activities.
  • Ability to establish goals and objectives, develop and evaluate administrative policies and procedures, and prepare concise reports.
  • Knowledge of material inventory systems, Microsoft Office programs, and agency programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop solutions, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and provide leadership and promote growth in others.
