Job Summary

Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our Solid Organ Transplant team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert pharmacotherapy services to abdominal and cardiothoracic transplant patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead immunosuppressive and opportunistic infection discussions on interdisciplinary rounds
  • Develop and implement transplant education programs for patients and healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with transplant teams to design and implement new pharmacy programs and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide direct patient-centered care and integrated pharmacy operational services
  • Assume responsibility for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Postgraduate residency/fellowship training preferred
  • Board Certification by examination, or equivalent certification, in the relevant specialty preferred
  • Ability to interact constructively with supervisors, peers, and support personnel
Working Conditions

Able to lift up to 20 lbs, stand for extended periods, and sit for extended periods.
