Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team at PRIMUS Global Services, Inc. in Plano, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and validate Infotainment Systems to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Develop test specifications, set up test environments, and execute tests.
  • Report defects, track test status, and communicate with remote teams.
  • Collaborate with Function Owners, Domain Experts, Test Architects, and Development teams.
  • Utilize Automotive tools for CAN/FlexRay/Ethernet communication.
  • Support defect prioritization, retesting, and defect closure.
  • Participate in joint test events with customers and suppliers.
  • Attend program test events for functional testing.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the Automotive domain, specifically in Infotainment.
  • Strong experience in writing test specifications and executing tests.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and JIRA tools like Zephyr.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze Use Cases and Requirements.
  • Experience creating and executing Test Cases and defect tickets.
  • Ability to triage defects and track progress.
  • Experience building metrics and graphs for defect management.
