Job Summary

The Patient Service Representative is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless continuation of care. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of front office tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and referrals
  • Collect copays and outstanding balances, and process medical records and charts
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of related job experience in a medical office or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience with computers and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
  • Experience with insurance authorizations
