Job Summary

Summit Federal Services, LLC, a leading provider of aviation services, is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee aviation projects at various airports. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and a strong background in aviation project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage FAA and State DOT aviation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget
  • Manage the project life cycle from planning to close out, ensuring seamless execution and delivery
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of quality and safety
  • Develop contract specifications and bid estimates, leveraging industry expertise and knowledge
  • Coordinate engineering design staff and other disciplines, fostering effective collaboration and communication
  • Complete accurate daily time keeping, maintaining precise records and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with a strong foundation in aviation project management
  • 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, with a focus on aviation project management
  • P.E. Certification Required, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Proficient in MS Office (AutoCAD a plus), with experience in project management software and tools
  • Construction experience in aviation, with a deep understanding of industry best practices
