The Ponca City Development Authority is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Child Care Worker within our Emergency Youth Shelter. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about supporting young individuals in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care and supervision for children in a residential setting.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all youth in the facility.
- Assist in daily activities and routines to promote a positive atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Prior experience with children is preferred but not mandatory.
Work Schedule:
Shifts are available around the clock, including:
- Morning: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Evening: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Night: 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $14.50.
This role offers flexibility for those looking to work one or two shifts per week or seeking temporary employment opportunities. We encourage interested candidates to submit their applications.
