Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures to clients on various topics, including addiction and recovery.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in discussions on best practices and professional development.
  • Maintain LAC or LCAC counseling status and adhere to licensing requirements.
  • Provide professional services to clients, following all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Establish a supervision plan with the Modality Department Supervisor/Clinical Manager to ensure best practices and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • LAC or LCAC counselor or LMSW/LCSW credentialing.
  • One to two years of experience in the alcohol/drug-abuse counseling field.
  • Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate competency in the 12 Core Functioning Counseling skills.
  • Valid Kansas Driver's License with a satisfactory record.
  • First Aid/CPR training and annual TB test or verification of clear chest X-ray by MD.
