Job Title: Day Services Manager

ResCare Community Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Day Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our day services programs, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operation of day services programs, including personnel, operational budget, and compliance with agency policy and state/federal regulations.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation related to staff, including performance reviews, leave requests, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in investigations and ensure appropriate follow-through on recommendations.
  • Manage contracts and supervise the work of contract staff.
  • Oversee ongoing contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Supervise and train staff on contract work and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Maintain good customer relations with current business partners and provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Oversee the treatment/support services provided by day services staff and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as liaison for Support Coordinators, family, and legal guardians.
  • Coordinate and resolve conflicts in resources for the provision of services.
  • Attend support plans or special reviews, as necessary.
  • Monitor program documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Evaluate and monitor program effectiveness.
  • Monitor individual financial records and medication administration records.
  • Provide budget and financial oversight and assist in the development and monitoring of assigned budgets.
  • Remain within budgeted expenses for service areas.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a Social Science preferred.
  • Minimum of five years in the Human Services field with two years of progressively responsible management experience.
  • Prior experience providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to travel to multiple service sites, staying overnight if necessary.
  • Experience in managing systems, processes, and people.
  • Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations concerning services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Demonstrate computer proficiency with working knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven supervisory skills.
  • Capable of working responsibly with highly confidential information.
  • Proven track record to guide teams toward multiple goals within several resource and/or reimbursement models.
  • Valid driver's license from the state of residence with a satisfactory driving record as defined by Company vehicle policy and/or liability insurance carrier.
