Job Title: DSHS ALTSA Coordinated Personal Care Program Manager

Job Summary:

The Office of Housing and Employment's Housing Integration Unit has an immediate opening for a Coordinated Personal Care (CPC) Program Manager. We are seeking an innovative thinker with a passion for interagency program development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update statewide policies and procedures for the CPC model of service delivery to ensure field operations and service providers meet rules and requirements of funders.
  • Participate in and/or facilitate stakeholder and partnership meetings for the development and implementation of expansion plans for the CPC service delivery model.
  • Provide technical assistance and coordination to field staff, service providers, and contract managers as needed.
  • Draft concept papers and proposals for executive management on proposed legislation to support the expansion of the CPC service provision model.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in health or social science, public administration, health information systems, or related field.
  • Five years' experience planning and/or administering community-based supportive services for seniors and/or people with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing delivery of Medicaid Long Term Supports and Services programs.
  • Experience in and knowledge of principles and practices of home and community-based service delivery systems, payment systems, vendor contracts, and client eligibility rules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced level of expertise on policy and practice related Long-Term Care programs and Medicaid Transformation Project.
  • Experience with principles and practices of Permanent Supportive Housing, affordable housing, and related community services.
  • Skills in community development and project planning and implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
