The Senior Enrollment Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Enrollment Unit's operations, ensuring that all eligibility criteria and insurance prerequisites are adhered to in accordance with the health plan's established policies and regulatory obligations.
This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) across all functions within Member Services, safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring operational integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of two years of collegiate coursework in business, healthcare administration, or a related field is essential. Experience in enrollment and billing processes is preferred, while familiarity with healthcare resolution practices is advantageous but not mandatory. Additionally, at least one year of supervisory experience in a health maintenance environment is preferred.
