This role involves overseeing electrical subsystems, primarily located in the United States, with flexibility for certain locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse, multi-disciplinary team while effectively communicating critical decisions to senior management.
- Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional development.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality customer commitments.
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables to meet program objectives.
- Integrate various engine systems and technologies for optimal performance.
- Conduct design trade studies and identify suitable suppliers for components.
- Provide regular updates to technical leadership and apply effective program management practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in design engineering.
Preferred Attributes
- Master's degree in engineering.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Self-driven with a passion for aerospace advancements.
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, subject to government regulations.
