Job Description Summary

As a lead engineer in electrical systems, you will have the opportunity to develop next-generation technologies and drive innovation in the aerospace industry.

The Evendale ACE Electrical Systems team is responsible for the design, support, and problem-solving for electric and electrical systems for advanced combat engines.

This team requires a unique combination of expertise, influencing skills, and project management to succeed.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Take full ownership of a range of hardware as you develop expertise and sharpen critical engineering skills required to succeed in the industry.
  2. Manage individual projects as part of a cross-functional team, including creating and updating proposal documents, leading design reviews, and reviewing technical data.
  3. Usher critical technology through the full design process from concept to production.
  4. Verify and document electrical components from suppliers to meet customer requirements for performance and integration.
  5. Take advantage of both breadth and depth of knowledge of an industry leader as you learn to implement aerospace standards and best practices.
  6. Integrate complex sensing systems architecture into turbomachinery.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in design engineering.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
