Job Summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our Behavioral and Mental Health Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in treating anxiety and depression in children with autism spectrum disorders. This is a full-time position, with a split between direct clinical care and administrative time.

Responsibilities

Provide effective delivery of services, including psychological assessments, consultation, and therapy, appropriate to the patient's specific needs and severity level of disability or impairment.
Develop and successfully implement assessment standards and treatment plans that support established goals.
Document weekly/monthly treatment notes and assessment reports following established standards.
Collaborate with child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, behavioral and mental health therapists, and nurse case managers to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan for each patient.

Requirements

PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA accredited program.
Completed an APA accredited child internship.
Expertise in treating children and adolescents using evidence-based treatment approaches.
Licensed in Georgia prior to employment and must obtain board certification within hospital timelines.
