Job Title: Clinical Child Psychologist

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Child Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral and Mental Health Center, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based family therapy to children and adolescents.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Child Psychologist to work with our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting clinical supervision, providing family therapy, and working with children and adolescents with a range of mental health needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective delivery of services, including psychological assessments, consultation, and therapy, to children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement assessment standards and treatment plans that support established goals.
  • Document weekly/monthly treatment notes and assessment reports following established standards.
  • Collaborate with child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, and other behavioral and mental health professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Participate in the training of psychology doctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows.
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA accredited program.
  • Completed an APA accredited child internship.
  • Licensed or licensed-eligible in Georgia.
  • Board certification within hospital timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in providing family therapy and counseling.
  • Experience in writing and research.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a split between direct clinical care and administrative time. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
