Collaborating Physician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Collaborating Physician to join our team at Brave Counseling and Psychiatry. As a Collaborating Physician, you will work closely with our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to provide high-quality psychiatric care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise up to 6 Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
  • Meet with team members weekly for case consultations and supervision
  • Review charts and provide feedback to team members
  • Prescribe medications and provide medical diagnoses as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in psychiatry (MD or DO)
  • Active, unrestricted license in the State of Missouri
  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • DEA certification
  • Proven experience as a psychiatrist
  • Supportive of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
