Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at CenterPointe Hospital of Columbia, an Acadia Healthcare facility. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our new team.

About the Role:

  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Evaluate patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Clinical Services: Provide clinical services to patients, including psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and medication management.
  • Medical Protocols: Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as corporate and facility policies.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • Experience: One or more years of post-graduate degree practice preferred.
  • Licensure: Licensed in the state in which the facility operates.
