Job Summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure segment. As a key member of our North Market Team, you will be responsible for developing project results and managing client relationships on large engagements. Your expertise in energy transition, sustainability, and infrastructure development will drive business growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams in developing detailed fact-finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities, including energy efficiency, grid modernization, renewable energy, and customer programs.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships and workstreams, driving business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and present research findings and recommended plans of action directly to clients, leveraging your expertise in energy transition and sustainability.
  • Perform, advise, and review technical and economic analyses and other work products of the project team, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Assess emerging energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies, summarizing trends and managing building energy modeling or field performance measurement and data collection.
  • Lead the facilitation of workshops and working sessions between client departments and third-party organizations, driving discussion towards consensus.
  • Communicate solutions and new strategies to clients through reports and presentations, showcasing your expertise in energy transition and sustainability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, business, economics, environmental, science, or related discipline.
  • 7-10 years of relevant industry or consulting experience, excluding internships, co-ops, fellowships, and academic research.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving business growth.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analytics.
  • Ability to assume ownership of significant portions of tasks while collaborating with a close-knit team.
  • Strong interest in business strategy, energy efficiency, and sustainability, with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate as part of a team and work independently.
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlines.
