- Provide positive reinforcement and set clear expectations for children's behavior.
- Take responsibility for the upkeep of the classroom and shared spaces.
- Participate in all required meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Exhibit a professional appearance in accordance with company guidelines.
- Assist in various capacities as directed by the leadership team.
- Must meet the basic qualifications set by local childcare regulatory agencies.
- Prior experience in a teaching or assistant teaching role within a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
- Understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for the safe handling of children.
- A two-year degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, particularly in literacy, mathematics, and science.
