Job Description

The Industrial Sales Development Specialist will be responsible for working directly with end-users and limited levels of a distributor network. The primary objective is to oversee an assigned territory, identify customer needs, optimize existing accounts, and expand relationships within those accounts. Prospecting will play a key role in this position, with 50-60% of time dedicated to developing new sales opportunities.

This role will support our Mold Release/Industrial Coating product segment.

Essential Duties

  • Responsible for total sales of assigned product segments and SKUs within a defined territory.
  • Mold Release: Diamond Kote and Crystal
  • Meet or exceed the sales plan for the defined territory for the sales period.
  • Distribution Partners (regional and branch locations)
    • Develop and document a strategic vision to partner with distributors to grow revenue organically.
    • Provide education, engage in sales meetings, customer visits, business reviews, exhibit at tradeshows, and develop co-op marketing programs to drive top-of-mind behavior.
  • End Users
    • Develop and document a strategic vision to grow with end users within the assigned territory.
    • Identify product conversion opportunities, engage in/coordinate product trials, and negotiate commercial terms as necessary.

Administrative

  • Communicate all necessary information, including financial results and strategic intent, within the assigned territory.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for documentation, funnel/pipeline management, contract management, SPA entry, CBI documentation, and sales campaigns.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Attend business meetings, trade shows, or other required industry/business events as needed.
  • Support the operations team in ensuring proper coverage of production operations.
  • Act as a backup for direct reports for critical activities serving ITW Pro Brands customers.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum two to ten years of experience in sales in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook.
  • Strong written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills.

Salary Range:$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location:United States, with extensive travel required within the assigned territory, Mexico, and Canada (75% or more).
