Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Media Advisor & Lecturer to join our team at the University of Vermont. As a key member of our School of Arts, you will be responsible for advising students in researching, planning, creating, delivering, and promoting multimedia content for various media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise students on multimedia content creation and production
  • Develop and implement multimedia content strategies
  • Collaborate with students to produce high-quality multimedia content
  • Provide guidance on multimedia content distribution and promotion

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in communications or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in multimedia content creation and production
  • Experience working with students and managing production schedules and budgets
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to the evolving demands of the field of journalism and media

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in multimedia production
  • Experience in daily organization that produced multimedia content on a deadline
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-standard concepts
  • Experience working with students and nurturing effective partnerships
