Job Summary

Blackbird Recruiting is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Chief Care Management Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing care management strategies that foster a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement care management policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
    • Provide high-level oversight to the VPs of Care Management and Care Management workforce, ensuring their growth and success.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices in care management.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with OPWDD Regional Offices and participate in regular meetings with the VPs of CM and other CM staff as necessary.
  • Compliance and Quality
    • Ensure compliance with all OPWDD regulations and policies, maintaining the highest levels of patient safety and quality care.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care management programs, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required; Master's degree or licensed professional preferred.
    • A minimum of 10 years' related Human Service experience, with 5 years in IDD and 3 years at a senior management level.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Outstanding leadership qualities and ability to negotiate multiple systems.
    • Proficient in understanding the coordination and management of services for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
    • Solid verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
