Job Title: Deputy Chief Executive Officer

The Falcon Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Executive Officer to lead our New York City office. As a senior-level leadership position, this role will direct and implement activities and strategic sales plans for the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate market conditions and prepare sales forecasts
  • Establish objectives and maintain rapport with key clients
  • Assure compliance with client specifications and direct staff
  • Coordinate and manage internal kick-off, milestone, and closeout meetings for projects
  • Verify schedules and ensure adherence to project plans and timelines
  • Conduct on-site inspections and document existing conditions
  • Prepare written correspondence with clients and contractors
  • Understand investigation reports and bid documents
  • Communicate project status and address any issues or discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records and files
  • Collect post-project feedback and communicate it to direct supervisors
  • Keep up-to-date with job knowledge and industry trends
  • Engage in networking activities and represent the company at events
  • Perform forensic inspections and supervise testing activities
  • Produce comprehensive field reports and generate expert reports
  • Collaborate with legal teams and represent the firm in mediations
  • Conduct project meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to senior leaders
  • Review project work, budget, goals, deliverables, and timelines
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Recommend promotion, termination, and performance improvement plans for team members
  • Perform annual performance reviews
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering or Architecture
  • MBA is preferred
  • Valid United States Driver's License required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation and deliverables
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
  • Flexibility to work overtime and travel outside local areas
  • Efficient time management skills while adhering to project budgets
