Job Summary

Yale University seeks a highly skilled and experienced Diversity Equity Inclusion Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Diversity Equity Inclusion Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and facilitating diversity equity inclusion and belonging learning and development programs, providing coaching and consultation, and learning and development to support system-wide DEI engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide, scalable, DEI curriculum, staff development, training, and learning opportunities, toolkits, and materials that advance DEIB commitment and strategy.
  • Consult with department leadership and other key stakeholders to conduct needs analysis at the individual and team levels to uncover the learning and developmental needs, ensuring that the educational product delivered fits the needs of the group and department.
  • Serve as subject matter advisor to identify and integrate DEI learning and development into business priorities, principles, and operations.
  • Implement accountability measures and metrics to track, evaluate, and report on the progress of DEI and L&D objectives across functions and countries.
  • Create and maintain content that is delivered through a variety of modes and platforms that engage all types of learners and are consistent with adult learning principles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, or related field and a minimum of four years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully engage diverse audiences through creative facilitated instructor-led training programs.
  • Excellent communicator, presenter, facilitator, and writer.
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on research data and findings related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, adult learning, education, and related topics.
  • Familiarity with WorkDay Learning or other related software for tracking training participants and analyzing or displaying outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or certification.
  • Working knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques.
  • Knowledge of academic curricula.
