- Develop and implement event concepts, themes, and logistics, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students, to plan and deliver events that meet their needs and expectations.
- Manage event budgets, vendors, and contracts, ensuring fiscal responsibility and compliance with University policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, speakers, and sponsors, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as event management, hospitality, or communications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in event planning software, such as Eventbrite or AllSeated.
