Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth in the commercial, industrial, rental, and consumer markets using Club Car products and services. This role will develop and execute individual business plans to achieve market share, revenue, and margin targets, and identify new opportunities to grow Club Car's utility and consumer vehicle business.

Territory

West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and part of Pennsylvania.

Position Structure

Remote with travel.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement short and long-term strategies to grow business volume within the market(s) and promote and sell products within the assigned territory.
  2. Drive channel partner participation in all Club Car programs and activities.
  3. Support assigned channel partners in demonstrating, promoting, and selling/leasing transportation and utility vehicles to businesses within key vertical markets, while maintaining Club Car's pricing integrity and profit margins.
  4. Train and develop sales professionals at assigned channel partners to ensure long-term growth.
  5. Perform annual assessments of assigned dealers using the channel evaluation tool, creating and following up on action plans to close performance gaps.
  6. Work with channel development partners to manage channels, eliminate under-performing dealers, and recruit new dealers with strong sales and business capabilities to increase market coverage.
  7. Represent Club Car to end-users, making outside sales calls and exhibiting at trade shows with channel partners.
  8. Work with dealers to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  9. Support strategic/key account sales activity by ensuring channel partners fulfill obligations in a professional, timely, and consistent manner.
  10. Support corporate business initiatives and programs.
  11. Stay abreast of competitive issues in the market.
  12. Regularly provide progress reports to management as required.
Qualifications:
  • Percentage of Travel: Approximately 50%
  • Education Standard: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: Channel management experience, direct sales experience in consumer products, key account relationship development, digital marketing experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.

  • Effective time management and ability to set and deliver high customer service standards.
  • Demonstrated experience using CRM system (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Function as a business consultant to maximize growth by helping channel partners improve their overall business.
