Job Title: Experienced Sales Manager

US Auto Trust LLC is a leading automotive group in California, proud to represent legendary brands such as Aston Martin, Land Rover, Jaguar, Hyundai, Genesis, and Cadillac. We are seeking an experienced sales manager to lead our sales team at Jaguar Land Rover of Newport Beach.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, leading a high-performing sales team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and profit.
  • Setting clear goals and expectations for the sales team.
  • Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals and best practice processes.
  • Managing the negotiation process with sales associates to ensure customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
  • Appraising vehicles for trade.
  • Managing customer traffic across showroom, e-commerce, and phone channels.
  • Partnering with the general manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory.
  • Assisting in managing controllable expense elements for new and used vehicle departments.
  • Analyzing business performance to identify shortfalls and develop action plans to improve performance.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Jaguar Land Rover experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent automotive sales manager experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven success in auto retail sales.
  • Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others.
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organization and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and a safe driving record.
