Job Overview:
The Capitol Region Education Council is in search of a dedicated Associate Educator to provide Math Support and Intervention.

Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Associate Educator will primarily assist students in Algebra I, specifically those in grades 8-10, offering in-class support as well as targeted instructional intervention in small groups.

The main objective of this role is to effectively address the learning recovery needs of students. The work schedule will typically run from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM for a duration of 10 months.

Associate Educators may also be required to participate in faculty meetings, departmental gatherings, and professional development workshops, contingent upon the approval of the program director.

A Bachelor’s degree in education or a related discipline is preferred, along with prior experience working with a diverse student population in a middle or high school environment. Proficiency in teaching and classroom management skills is advantageous. Strong organizational and time management abilities are essential. Candidates should be proactive and engaged in all classroom activities. Experience with group dynamics and hands-on, activity-based learning approaches is also preferred.
