Job Summary:

The Night Audit Associate is a key member of the front desk team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's front desk and guest services during the night shift. This role requires a high level of customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk activity, handle guest check-ins and check-outs, and ensure customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference.
  • Accounting and Finance: Balance accounts from day shift, manage cash and credit card transactions, and audit for accuracy room revenue, all room and tax charges, cashier's reports, and guest and house accounts.
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service, resolve guest issues, and complete special requests. In the event of dissatisfaction, negotiate compromise in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse guests.
  • Knowledge of safety and security procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working varying schedules, including holidays and weekends, to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
