The RoleWe are seeking a collaborative, team-focused Product Owner with experience in designing and managing electronic trading products, such as agency trading algorithms, smart order routing, and crossing engines. This role requires a strong understanding of trading protocols, such as FIX, and the ability to work across business and technology departments to build a seamless trading platform.
Key Responsibilities- Design and manage electronic trading platforms, including algorithmic trading, smart order routing, and internalization/matching engines.
- Extract and analyze data using SQL and other query languages.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market structure, crypto, FX, or equities.
- Define and manage execution quality standards for asset classes.
- Collaborate with Technology Engineering Management and Scrum Masters to build squad capacity and capability.
- Make informed trade-off decisions to balance quality, cost, and timelines.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or quantitative/analytical training a plus.
- 7+ years of combined experience working with trading platforms and/or leading agile teams.
- Jira and Jira Align experience preferred.
- Experience in financial services, trading APIs, cryptocurrency trading, and custody a plus.
