About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Surgical Oncology team at Emory University Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgical oncology procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to complex patients with multi-system care issues
  • Design, implement, and measure safe, cost-effective, evidence-based care strategies
  • Collaborate with the Nursing Director(s) to lead clinical practice and education on the unit, within the division, and across the health system
  • Contribute to the advancement of nursing practice at the unit/system, local, state, and national levels
  • Provide expert nursing consultation to nurses, physicians, patients, and families to promote quality care
Requirements
  • Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
  • Master's degree in nursing
  • Meets GA Board of Nursing requirements for CNS
  • Three years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse with at least two years of recent experience in the area of concentration
