This position serves as the primary point of contact for students, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey. As a Student Success Coach, you will be responsible for managing a pipeline of students, coaching, motivating, and mentoring them to achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support students through their academic careers, providing proactive advice and guidance.
- Address and resolve student problems through research, collaboration, and follow-up.
- Serve as a point of contact for student account inquiries, responding to all emails and voicemails within one business day.
- Document all student interactions through university applications.
- Help students create academic plans, ensuring they are on track to meet their goals.
- Assist students with financial aid, conducting on-going follow-up to resolve issues.
- Monitor and outreach to students based on attendance, intervening with early at-risk students and assisting them through the satisfactory academic progress process.
- Inform students of tutoring and other university resources available to support their success.
- Implement activities to manage quarterly collection and bad debt expenses, ensuring compliance with university, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Passionate about the power of higher education and committed to student success.
- Strong internal drive and motivation, with a focus on problem-solving and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of success in customer service, consultative sales, or account management.
- College graduate or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree highly preferred.
- A competitive salary range of $19.50 - $29.75 per hour.
