Leidos is seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team. This role involves working with Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts to document, write, and articulate solutions and corporate experience against proposal requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop compliant and compelling proposal sections;
• Gather information from internal and external personnel to support writing activities;
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance proposal quality;
• Collaborate with Capture Executives, Solution Architects, and Technical and Management Volume Leads to develop work products to meet solicitation requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of professional experience or 6+ years with a master's degree;
• 5 years of experience working as a proposal writer responding to Federal Government solicitations;
• Evidence of a successful track record of high-quality, high-scoring proposals;
• Excellent writing and communication skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Desired Qualifications:
• 8 years of experience working in a competitive proposal environment;
• Experience with traditional video, live orals, and/or demonstration proposals;
• Ability to coach and instruct others to facilitate consistency across multiple authors;
• Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance and eligibility for SCI;
