Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Control Coordinator to join our team at Vectrus (V2X). As a Material Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt of materials, verifying quantities, and entering data into inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate and organize storage space efficiently to maximize the use of the warehouse.
  • Determine the appropriate locations for materials based on their size, frequency of use, and compatibility with other items.
  • Verify storage facilities comply with safety regulations and any specific storage requirements for certain materials, such as hazardous substances.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment and ensure materials are stored in a manner that prevents damage or deterioration.
  • Pick materials/kits from storage areas to fulfill orders.
  • Packaging materials/kits for shipment or transfer to protect the equipment during transit.
  • Label all packages accurately with the necessary information, including product identification, quantity, batch numbers, and any safety warnings.
  • Responsible for physical inventory reconciliation.
Requirements

  • Experience labeling all packages accurately with the necessary information, including product identification, quantity, batch numbers, and any safety warnings.
  • Responsible for physical inventory reconciliation.
