Job Overview: Responsible for maximizing sales effectiveness, driving growth, and enhancing account engagement within the industrial hose sector. This role involves providing technical support and engaging in promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in industry events, exhibitions, and promotional initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
Essential Qualifications:
- Education and Experience – An associate degree from a recognized institution and five to seven years of sales experience in industrial settings, or a suitable combination of education and experience. Familiarity with the chemical, petroleum, and food sectors is advantageous. Experience in industrial hose sales is preferred.
- Analytical Skills – Proficient in addressing practical challenges and managing various concrete factors in situations with limited standardization. Capable of interpreting diverse instructions in written, verbal, and diagrammatic formats.
- Numerical Skills – Competent in calculating figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Communication Skills – Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of drafting routine reports and correspondence, and effectively presenting information to groups.
- Technical Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with navigating Epicor Profit 21 and Rubber Tree systems.
- Additional Requirements – Must possess a valid driver's license and be open to extensive travel, including overnight stays as necessary.
