Key Responsibilities

EMBARK ON A SALES CAREER

We are in search of a motivated and personable individual to fill the role of New Home Sales Representative for our Build on Your Lot Division in the Cleveland, OH area.

The primary goal of this role is to promote and sell Drees Homes' Build on Your Lot program. This initiative enables clients to construct their ideal home from our award-winning collection, right on their chosen lot or location. Whether clients already possess a lot, require assistance in locating a site, or have a specific property in mind, the new home sales representative, along with a team of experts, will provide guidance and support throughout the entire process. This position will involve off-site work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Effectively selling the company's offerings in alignment with corporate policies while achieving or surpassing established sales targets.
  • Utilizing all sales documentation, reports, procedures, contracts, and policies proficiently.
  • Building relationships with real estate agents through marketing, regular office visits, and follow-up communications.
  • Participating in or organizing events.
  • Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the company's product lines.
  • Assisting clients in selecting home sites, house plans, and structural options.
  • Engaging in weekly sales meetings.
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Proven sales experience is essential.
  • Experience in new home sales is required.
  • An Associate's Degree is required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred; a degree in a related field is ideal.

This role may require weekend hours. The compensation structure is based entirely on commission, with earnings determined by the individual Sales Representative's success.
