Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Expertise
    • Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate patient experience by responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Utilize technology to manage patient care, including registration, appointment scheduling, and data entry.
  • Schedule Management
    • Process and maintain all schedules for the area of responsibility, communicating schedule changes as needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care.
    • Collaborate with other clinical specialties to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Financial Management
    • Collect all current and past-due patient responsibility balances.
    • Prepare financial estimates of anticipated prices for services prior to services being rendered and communicate estimated costs to patients.
  • Training and Development
    • Assist with training new staff on department-specific procedures and applications.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the healthcare team.

  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and recognize trends/issues and escalate to management.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of healthcare software applications.
